A small kitchen where everything required to prep, and cook is within arms’ reach can make everyday cooking more efficient and stress-free. This compact kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself or for a crowd. We wanted to keep this kitchen open and airy by doing an all-white palette but using a textured backsplash which still blends with the rest of the kitchen but adds interest and movement to the space. The existing beam and crown mold going across the kitchen was a bit challenging to work around, but we incorporated it by creating enough space above the fridge cabinetry to maintain the symmetry and added cabinetry as part of the dining room for the spaces to flow better into one another.
